Swiss flutist Tanja von Arx and French pianist-composer Alexandra Aubert come together in Chile —the country where they are both currently based— to form the duo Les Voisines*.

In their program Música Inquieta (Untamed Music), Tanja and Alexandra present a journey through works by 20th- and 21st-century composers who transcend traditional labels. These pieces draw inspiration from and evoke emotion through the simplicity of everyday life, the creative power of nature, as well as cinema and various forms of popular and/or folk musical expression.

Featuring works by Marcelo Morel (Chile), Lili Boulanger, Germaine Tailleferre, Claude Bolling (France), Pablo Aguirre, Fernando Muslera (Argentina), and Alexandra Aubert herself (France–Chile), Les Voisines invite the audience to experience a vibrant performance, rich in nuances and diverse colors.
